Subject to these terms and conditions, Canon Europa N.V., Bovenkerkerweg 59-61, 1185 XB, Amstelveen, the Netherlands (the promoter) will send you cash back or a Firestore portable Hard disk type FSC60 (the “Hard disk”) following receipt of:
- the correctly completed claim form (available at canon-europe.com/2008promotions); and
- a photocopy of the proof-of-purchase or copy of the cash register receipt; and
- the original barcode from the product box.

To be eligible to claim the cash back, the products in scope must be purchased in one of the following countries: Andorra, Channel Islands, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

To be eligible to claim the Hard disk, the products in scope must be purchased in one of the following countries: Andorra, Channel Islands, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

Furthermore, you must be a consumer resident in a country in the European Economic Area (i.e., the EU, Andorra, Channel Islands, Iceland, Norway, San Marino and Liechtenstein) or Switzerland (the “EEA”). The promotion is not open to employees of Canon or members of their family, or to any agents or dealers.

Cash back will only be provided where the products in scope were originally sold by Canon in the EEA. Canon will not redeem this cash back against any other product, except where a successor model originally sold by Canon in the EEA has replaced the products.
The promotion period is 01/06/2008 to 31/07/2008. To qualify for this promotion, the products must be purchased during this period and the claim form sent off on or before 15/09/2008 except for Spain where the claim form must be sent off before 31/10/2008.
Provided that all terms and conditions are met and cash back chosen, Canon will wire the money directly into your bank account, should you have chosen that option on the claim form. Please ask your bank for further information regarding an international bank transfer. If you fill in the correct IBAN number, bank name and Bank City, no additional bank details should be necessary. You will be directed what bank details are required in you country automatically when filling in the application form (available at the following internet address: www.canon-europe.com/2008promotions Canon will send you the cash back by cheque, should you have chosen that option.

Please note that local bank charges may be charged and are your responsibility.
Provided that all terms and conditions are met, you have purchased a XHL 1S, XHL 1A or XH G1 and you have chosen to receive the Hard disk, Canon will send the Hard Disk to the address you have submitted on the application form available at the following internet address: canon-europe.com/2008promotions within 30 days. The offer of the Hard disk is subject to Canon’s standard sales terms and conditions, available at canon-europe.com/2008promotions.
An email will be sent to applicants upon receipt of their postal application. Each applicant will be provided with an ID code, which they may use to check the status of their application (available at the following internet address: canon.submissionstatus.com). If the application meets all the conditions, the process of payment takes approximately 21 working days after receipt of the postal application.
Canon does not accept any responsibility for misdirected, delayed or lost mail, incomplete or illegible applications or damaged mail. Applications by fax, telephone or e-mail will not be accepted.
